Nite Lite Theatre of Gibson County

Nite Lite Theatre of Gibson County was founded in Trenton, Tennessee in 1980. The purpose of the Nite Lite Theatre is to produce and present plays and other works that are associated with the theatre and the performing arts and to encourage and promote interest in the theatre and the performing arts.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) non- profit, tax qualified charitable organization run by an elected board of directors. We are supported by arts foundation grants and the generous suppport from our community, the particpants in our shows and the volunteers that work behind the scenes. We perform three full length plays each season. Typically, our season consists of a musical, a comedy and a drama. We also present a children's performance each year so that children in the community have an opportunity to participate in and learn about theatre.

Nite Lite Theatre Scholarship
Nite Lite Theatre awards a $500 scholarshp annually to a graduating high school senior with an interest in studying theatre and performing arts. Applications are accepted in the Spring. If you would like more information, please visit our Contact page.

Nite Lite Theatre is open to everyone and we need YOU! We are a community organization and our shows come to life because of our love of theatre, dedication of volunteers and support from donors. We need all kinds of assistance to have a successful theatre season. We encourage you to audition, volunteer and donate. If you like to be behind the scenes we always need help with lights, sounds, stage management, set design, set building and costumes. Our stage door is always open to new faces. Please visit our web site often for the most up to date performance and audition information. You can also visit our Contact page if you would like to join our mailing list or just drop us a line!
